Special Adviser (Policy Coordination) to the Speaker House of Representatives.

Mr. Adenekan Gbadebo was born on 19th July 1972, he is from Abeokuta South Local Government Area of Ogun State and is married with one child. He holds a Bachelor’s degree LLB in Law and Politics (Combined Honors) and a Masters degree MSc. in Service Management (1999) both from the University of Buckingham UK.

He also attended Kings College Lagos where he obtained his SSCE Certificate Prior to his present appointment he was a pioneer member of staff at Econet Wireless Ltd (now Zain Nigeria Ltd) his 7 years at Zain Ltd culminated in his position as Specialist (Corporate’s and SME’s) Lagos Mainland Region, where he managed Zains relationship with Unilever Plc, Cadbury Plc, Diageo/Guiness, R.T. Briscoe Plc and Wapco Lafarge Plc. He had previously held various positions in the Business Development, Distribution Channel Management and Corporate Sales Departments of Zain Ltd.

Before Econet Wireless Ltd he was an Account Manager at PFJ Ltd, London UK (the UK’s leading Recruitment Consultancy) where he managed a portfolio of client accounts, including Charterhouse Communications Group and Endemol Ltd, he resigned from PFJ Ltd in 2001 to return to pursue a career in Nigeria. Adenekan enjoys reading, travelling, the gym and is a keen follower of Motorsports.

His core duties are: (a) Policy analysis and the preparation of position papers for the Hon. Speaker, (b) Budget Analysis and (c) Evaluation and Monitoring of Mr. Speakers Constituency Projects.
