About the committee
(1) There shall be a Committee to be known as Committee on States and Local Governments consisting of not more than 40 members appointed at the commencement of the life of the House.
(2) The Committee's jurisdiction shall cover:
- Liaison with State Governments
- liaison with Local Governments
- Matters relating to the administration of the States
- Matters relating to the administration of the Local Governments
- Annual budget estimates
