About the committee
(1) There shall be a Committee to be known as Committee on Sports and Social Development consisting of not more than 40 members appointed at the commencement of the life of the House.
(2) The Committee's jurisdiction shall cover:
- Sports arena development
- Inter-related Sports Development
- Sports activities
- Sports administration
- Social development generally
- Assistance to vulnerable segments of the society including the socially disabled and the handicapped
- Annual budget estimates
