About the committee
(1) There shall be a Committee to be known as Committee on Special Duties consisting of between not more than 40 members appointed at the commencement of the life of the House.
(2) The Committee's jurisdiction shall cover:
- All matters relating to the Presidency
- The Committee shall perform functions and under-take assignments as directed by the Speaker of the House
- All matters relating to the National Boundary Commission
- All matters relating to State and Local Government boundaries
- Boundary disputes between Nigeria and neighbouring Countries
- Annual budget estimates
