About the committee
(1) There shall be a Committee to be known as Committee on Power consisting of not more than 40 members appointed at the commencement of the life of the House.
(2) The Committee's jurisdiction shall cover:
- Generation and distribution of electricity
- Energy policy formulation and implementation
- Oversight over the Power Holding Company of Nigeria, Electricity Regulatory Authority
- Utility Charges Commission
- Annual budget estimates
