About the committee
(1) There shall be a Committee to be known as Committee on Police Affairs consisting of not more than 40 members appointed at the commencement of the life of the House.
(2) The Committee's jurisdiction shall cover:
- Ministry of Police Affairs
- Nigeria Police Force
- Interpol
- Police Colleges
- Police Service Commission
- Maintenance of internal security and public order;
- Annual budget estimates
