About the committee
(1) There shall be a Committee to be known as Committee on National Planning and Economic Development consisting of not more than 40 members appointed at the commencement of the life of the House.
(2) The Committee's jurisdiction shall cover:
- Matters relating to National Planning generally
- National Bureau of Statistics and National Manpower Board
- Oversight over National Planning Commission
- Oversight over the Broad implementation of the Millennium Development Goals
- Annual budget estimates
