About the committee
(1) There shall be a Committee to be known as Committee on Labour, Employment and Productivity consisting of not more than 40 members appointed at the commencement of the life of the House.
(2) The Committee's jurisdiction shall cover:
- All matters relating to trade unions and labour generally
- All matters relating to social security and other cognate issues
- National productivity improvement
- Co-operative societies
- Factory inspection
- Wages and salaries
- Nigerian Social Insurance Trust Fund
- Annual budget estimates.
