About the committee
(1) There shall be a Committee to be Committee on Federal Capital Territory as consisting of not more than 40 members appointed at the commencement of the life of the House.
(2) The Committee's jurisdiction shall cover:
- Matters affecting the Federal Capital Territory
- Planning and development of the Federal Capital Territory
- Allocation of lands in the Federal Capital Territory
- Control of development within Federal Capital Territory
- Oversight over all agencies under the Federal Capital Administration
- Annual budget estimates.
