About the committee
(1) There shall be a Committee to be known as Committee on Capital Market and Institutions consisting of not more than 40 members appointed at the commencement of the life of the House.
(2) Committee jurisdiction shall cover:
(a) Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC);
(b) Formulation of policies and laws regulating:
- The Nigerian Stock Exchange
- Issuing Houses
- Stock broking firms and dealers
- Unclaimed bonds and issues related thereto
- Trustee Securities
- Commodity Exchanges
- Annual budget estimate
