About the committee
(1) There shall be a Committee to be known as Committee on Aviation consisting of not more than 40 members appointed at the commencement of the life of the House.
(2) Committee jurisdiction shall cover:
- Airport developments and management
- Civil Aviation regulatory and other services
- Air safety services at, Airports
- Schools of Aviation
- Oversight over Aviation Institutions where the Federal Government has interest
- Meteorological services
- Nigerian Air Space Management Agency
- General oversight over the activities of the Aviation Ministry
- Annual budget estimate
